Are you an organised, friendly individual who is ready to learn and support a busy council in the community with employment services?

We are looking for an individual with administration experience who has an eye for detail and wants to work in a friendly team who will support you to learn on the job?

Can you communicate in Welsh at level 1 for speaking, writing and reading? Then this is the role for you.

Pay rate: £13.47 per hour

Contract type: Temporary

Location: Colwyn Bay

Duration: 4-6 months

Duties and Responsibilties

  • Help update and maintain databases with accurate information
  • Assist with booking rooms and venues for meetings, training and events
  • Support the team in setting up job fairs and community events
  • Contact local employers and training providers by phone or email
  • Call or message participants to confirm attendance at courses or events
  • Print and prepare materials for training sessions and events
  • Help design and send email posters and updates about upcoming opportunities
  • Distribute physical posters to local venues to promote events
  • Keep records and complete simple admin tasks to support the team
  • Work with a friendly team who will help you learn on the job

Skills and experience needed needed

  • Level 1 in Welsh - Writing, Speaking and Reading
