Our client, a large public sector organisation based in Newry, is looking for an Administrative Officer to join their team.

Duration: Upto 52 weeks

Rate of pay: £12.59

Location: Newry

Hours: 37 hours per week, AWP 08:00 – 20:00 on a rota basis

Main Duties:

The role involves working as a Case Manager within the Newry Service Centre for Universal Credit. Responsibilities include assisting claimants in creating and maintaining their digital accounts, ensuring all actions and "To-Do" items are completed promptly and accurately, and managing cases throughout the claim's lifecycle. The role requires communication with claimants and colleagues via various channels, daily telephony duties, and a proactive, whole-case approach to case management with minimal handoffs. The role also involves contributing to the continuous improvement of the UC service by reviewing processes and providing feedback. As automation increases, the role may evolve. Please note, full attendance at a 17-day mandatory training course is required, with the first day face-to-face (venue TBC) and the rest virtual from the Newry Service Centre. No leave is permitted during training.
