Client: Bradford SSCS Ministry Of Justice

Job Title: Admin Officer

Location: Phoenix House BD3 7BH

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour rising to £12.53 per hour

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, 37 hours per week

This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a full time Administration Officer to join the Team at SSCS Bradford with our client, The Ministry of Justice based in Bradford. The role will include working as part of a flexible team in a back-office environment and will be responsible for assisting in the administration process for Social Security appeals to be heard at a Tribunal.

Responsibilities Include:
  1. Utilising decision making for case manage appeals from registration through to the case being taken to a hearing.
  2. Undertaking a variety of complex administration tasks utilising appeals database.
  3. Contacting customers/stakeholders via phone.
  4. Dealing with confidential information.
  5. Working with a high-volume output and 100% accuracy rates.
  6. Processing evidence to add to appeal files.
  7. Raising and responding to judicial queries.
  8. Listing appeals into the correct Tribunal hearings.
  9. Progressing administrative actions post tribunal hearing.

Please note working for the Ministry of Justice will require you to have photographic ID. This can be a Full-length Birth Certificate supported by a driving or provisional licence in your current address OR an in-date passport.
