About The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and driven Administration Manager to provide exceptional administrative support to our Logistics function, ensuring the team operates effectively, efficiently, and remains customer focused. This role plays a crucial part in supporting operations across the Grocery, Perishables, and ALM Logistics sectors.

As a key leader within the team, you will contribute to the overall success by guiding and mentoring the Logistics Administration team. You will focus on driving continuous improvement, managing change, and promoting a positive team culture. Additionally, you will ensure the seamless execution of processes, bringing together new and current strategies to support broader business operations and achieve organisational goals.

In this Role

  • Ensure timely and high-quality completion of Payroll requirements (Kronos data management) with minimal errors
  • Manage Pallet and Crate inventory administration, including stocktake for the site
  • Oversee non-trade procurement, Freight Invoicing, and direct expenses through the Concur system
  • Investigate, lodge, and close customer claims, meeting SLA requirements and providing excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, OH&S, and HR standards for self and team
  • Monitor and replenish PPE inventory in a cost-effective manner
  • Ensure adherence to OH&S processes and compliance, coordinating with the National SHE Manager
  • Support team performance and identify training and development needs to maximize potential
  • Lead the Administration team to set and achieve objectives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage key stakeholders to ensure processes are aligned and add value to broader operations
  • Lead and drive positive change within the Logistics Admin team, promoting the onsite culture
  • Encourage innovation in processes and procedures within the admin team and achieve logistics operations budgets

  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • In-depth understanding of payroll processes and systems
  • Passionate about process improvement to enhance operational efficiency
  • Solid knowledge of budgets, P&L, and month / year-end financial processes
  • Extensive administrative experience with excellent organisational skills
  • Adaptable and quick to adjust to changes in legislation, procedures, systems, or priorities
  • Familiar with Statutory regulations, including HACCP and OH&S standards
