Overview

An opportunity has arisen within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to appoint a Part time Admin Co-ordinator in our Basingstoke School Nursing team based at Parklands House. As the Admin Co-ordinator you will assist the School Nursing team in the development and maintenance of a quality administrative service across a defined area. You will be required to provide high level support to the Admin Lead, Admin Manager and Clinical Team Leads in all aspects of activity relating to the Business Unit function.

You will need to use initiative, work autonomously, and refer issues to other relevant parties as appropriate while ensuring confidentiality and security of information is always maintained. You will provide a good customer service experience for all staff and patients/customers.

Responsibilities
  • Answering phones
  • Entering information on patient record systems
  • Inputting data for the National Child Measurement Programme, Vision
  • Managing emails
  • E-Rostering for the team
  • Ordering stationery and equipment
  • Minute taking at team meetings
  • Carrying out other general administrative tasks as required
Qualifications and requirements
  • Excellent IT skills
  • NVQ in Administration
  • Prepared to provide cross-cover support to other teams and sites across the Area as required
  • Access to a car, a full driving licence and business use insurance
