Job description

The Medical Specialties Division is seeking a full-time Administration Assistant to join the Diabetes and Endocrine administration team at University College London Hospital.

The ideal candidate should be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, have good IT skills, and be able to prioritize workload effectively for themselves and others to adapt to changing demands within the team and service.

The role involves working closely with administrative and clinical teams, including nursing and medical staff, allied health professionals, and support workers. You will be the first point of contact (both verbally and in writing) for patients, relatives, GPs, and other external hospital staff or tertiary referrers.

Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential; experience in an office environment is required.
