North Lanarkshire Council is looking for a temporary administrative support role based in Motherwell. The role includes maintaining information systems, budget administration, and requires strong IT skills. Based in the Civic Centre, Motherwell, you will report to the Tenant Participation Manager and work as part of the Business Engagement Team who work with tenants to encourage their participation and ensure the needs of tenants and local communities are met. You will provide comprehensive administrative support including developing and maintaining information systems, budget administration, arranging and servicing meetings, collating and monitoring statistical returns and producing a range of typed correspondence and reports using a variety of software packages.
With an HNC/SVQ3 or equivalent in a relevant subject, you should be IT literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft computer packages together with experience of working within a clerical or administrative environment. Excellent organisational and communication skills, both oral and written and a professional manner are essential. Self-motivated, you should have the ability to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
This post is temporary until 26/02/2027.
Working Pattern - 35 Hours
Monday - Thursday: 8:45am - 4:45pm (including a 55-minute unpaid break) and Friday: 8:45am - 4:15pm (including a 50-minute unpaid break)
