A leading public sector organization is seeking an administrator to support robust IT systems for Early Learning and Childcare services. The role entails maintaining policies and procedures, acting as the first point of contact for stakeholders while offering flexibility in working arrangements.
R oles that require PVG Membership
Please note that with effect from 1 April 2023 , where a role requires PVG membership, candidates will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership . This applies only to roles with a full time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above . (Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 11 and above (currently £30,285 per annum / £ 16.64 per hour)
The Council will pay for the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members , and this cost will be deducted from an employee’s first FULL month’s salary payment.
Job purpose/about the role
To administer, maintain and support IT systems, policies and procedures which enable the Education Service to provide and support a robust and effective Early Learning and Childcare service. Additionally, the job provides initial point of contact, and advice and information to any of the stakeholders of the Early Learning and Childcare service, including parents, staff and service providers.
Ability to undertake general office tasks, including word-processing.
Ability to support colleagues.
Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload to best support service delivery.
Ability to provide a variety of information and advice to a wide range of stakeholders.
