Job description

A vacancy has arisen for an individual to provide a comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the District Nursing service within Community Nursing Adult Services. This post is an integral part of the Community Nursing Service redesign project and will focus on supporting the management of the Single Point of Referral Service. This is an exciting opportunity to part of the redesign of referral and communications processes that supports the work of the clinical teams.

You will be proficient in using Microsoft packages and have excellent communication,

organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to

tight deadlines. Previous experience in NHS administrative/clerical environment or

equivalent experience is essential for this post. You will be a dynamic and forward thinking person who has the ability to work within a changing environment.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support

Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

The post will be based within The Crescent, Whitfield.
