We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Admin Assistant to join a Specialist SEN School (PRU) in Harrow Weald, Northwest London, starting September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow their career in education administration. No school experience required - the school is happy to provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.

Job Details:
· Job Title: Admin Assistant (SEN School)
· Start Date: September 2025 (Interviews in August 2025)
· Contract: Long-term, temp to perm
· Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
· Location: Harrow Weald, Northwest London
· Pay: £106 per day

About the School:
This is a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) supporting children and young people aged 5 to 16 who are unable to access mainstream education. The school has a small cohort of approximately 35-36 pupils and is rated Good by Ofsted. It provides a supportive and nurturing environment for both learners and staff, with a strong focus on inclusion and trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities:
· Providing general administrative support to the school office
· Managing attendance records and safeguarding documentation
· Handling phone calls, emails, and visitor enquiries professionally
· Supporting staff with data entry and document preparation
· Liaising with parents, staff, and external professionals

Requirements:
· Strong communication and organisation skills
· Basic IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, email systems)
· Willingness to learn and work as part of a supportive team
· Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
· Right to work in the UK
· Two recent professional references
