A reputable agency in Chipping Ongar is seeking a full-time Admin Assistant. The role includes being the first point of contact, handling telephone calls, greeting visitors, preparing project documents, and managing office supplies. Admin Assistant

*MUST drive and have access to a vehicle due to the location of the business



My client, a successful interior designer is looking to recruit an Administration Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business that could offer you a long-term career.



The role is very varied and includes, but is not limited to…



Duties



  • Being first point of contact in office, alongside Office Manager

  • Handling phone calls, diverting out to relevant person or taking a message.

  • Greeting visitors

  • Typing of general documents - meeting minutes/certificates etc

  • Preparing documents and project information

  • Booking accommodation/flights etc

  • Stock checking / keeping office tidy

  • General office duties - scanning, filing, printing

  • Company expenses (basic work, not accountancy work)

  • Oversee all calendars and organising meetings

  • Monitor emails whilst members of the team are out of the office

  • Being a support to all members of staff



What They Are Looking For:



  • Strong administrator experience

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Able to work independently and use initiative
