Job Title: Administrative Support - Residential Children’s Home

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at Cambian, working within a Residential Children’s Home. This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week, between 9 am and 5 pm.

Role Overview:

You will support the Home Manager and Regional Manager by managing daily administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the home and region. Attention to detail, quality, and confidentiality are paramount, especially regarding safeguarding our children and young people.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
  2. Maintain physical and digital filing systems.
  3. Draft and edit letters, reports, and other documents.
  4. Input and update information in databases and spreadsheets.
  5. Prepare meeting agendas and record minutes.
  6. Create and edit documents using word processing and presentation software.
  7. Operate and maintain office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines.
  8. Handle sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality.
  9. Meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  10. Use standard office platforms such as Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
  11. Manage data entry and data management tasks.
  12. Maintain and improve filing systems.
  13. Demonstrate time management, multitasking, and flexibility.
  14. Show organization skills and attention to detail.
  15. Work well independently and collaboratively.
