Widener University’s College of Arts & Sciences is currently seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach a variety of Mathematics courses each semester. Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct up to 3 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis. Courses available for adjunct staffing are offered during the day. Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; and provide support and guidance to students.

Required qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Mathematics or closely related majors. Preference will be given to candidates who have an ABD or PhD in Mathematics or closely related majors, previous teaching experience and willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.Complete applications are to include a cover letter, C.V. and contact information for three professional references. This is a pooled position from which Adjunct will be hired. This pooled position will serve as an electronic file and replace paper CV’s. As openings occur, applicants will be hired from this pool.
