We are working with a reputable and growing mental health provider seeking experienced ADI-R Clinicians to conduct structured autism assessments on a flexible, remote, self-employed basis. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in autism diagnostics who are passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals.
Role Overview
- Conduct structured ADI-R assessments with patients and/or carers
- Each assessment takes approximately 3.75 hours
- Maximum of 2 assessments per day
- Fully remote delivery via secure online platform
- Direct engagement model - clinicians invoice monthly
- Payment upon completion and submission of assessment report
Rates of Pay
- Completed ADI-R Assessment: £520
- Did-Not-Attend (DNA): £260
Accepted Professional Backgrounds

- General Practitioners (GPs) - with autism assessment experience
- Psychologists - Clinical, Counselling, Forensic, Educational (Doctorate level - BPS accredited)
- Occupational Therapists - BSc in Occupational Therapy
- Speech & Language Therapists - BSc in Speech & Language Therapy
- Social Workers - BA (Hons) in Social Work
- Medical Doctors - Bachelor of Medicine (MBChB, MBBS)
- Psychology Graduates - BSc (Hons) Psychology with further specialist training
Requirements
- Relevant professional qualification and registration (e.g. HCPC, GMC, NMC, SWE)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, conducting autism assessments using the ADI-R
- Demonstrated ability to carry out remote assessments
- Strong clinical report writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high clinical standards
- Passionate about neurodiversity and delivering person-centred care
