Job description

Supply Teacher

As the UK's Number 1 Education Recruitment Agency, we are looking to add talented Primary Supply Teachers with QTS to our flexible workforce across Cambridgeshire.

Teaching Personnel is the market-leading education recruitment and supply agency committed to the learning and development of young people. With branches across the country, we are an employer of choice for high-quality Primary, Secondary, and SEND teaching and support staff.

About the role

The Primary Supply Teacher's salary is dependent on the amount of years worked as a Teacher - day-to-day supply or long-term cover. We are happy to discuss our guaranteed pay scheme, where you are paid even if you don't work!

The exciting and varied role of a Supply Teacher can vary from day to day. You will visit a number of different schools and teach different classes, and we are fortunate enough to work with some of the best Primary schools across Cambridgeshire. The majority of work you will deliver will be planned; however, sometimes you will need to have your own resources available to hand, suitable for the subjects & age groups you are happy to teach, but we will provide you with plenty of notice if this is the case. In addition to this, you are only expected to work 8:30-3:30pm and no longer.

Whether you are looking for flexible supply work to fit around other commitments or a long-term/permanent role, full-time or part-time – we can help you find the perfect Supply Teacher role!

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching qualification
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Be available between 1-5 days per week

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and be prepared to obtain an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service if they do not already have one - this will all be discussed in greater detail during the interview.
