Job description

OBM is currently recruiting for an Ad-Hoc Driver to support our clients' Ships Agency operations in Aberdeen. This position is available to candidates who are available on a flexible/ad-hoc basis with no guaranteed hours of work. Work is offered and allocated on a first come, first served basis to the pool of approved ad-hoc drivers.

Applicants must hold a full, clean UK driving licence with reasonable knowledge of Aberdeen and the surrounding area. Previous experience driving in a professional capacity is preferred but not essential.

Main duties include driving a small minibus to transfer vessel crew to various sites across Aberdeen, most commonly from Aberdeen Harbour/City Centre to Aberdeen Airport/Heliport. Longer journeys to Peterhead and Montrose may also be required.

Additional responsibilities may include delivery of freight or small parcels locally and further afield, mainly on the West Coast.

Please note that the pick-up and drop-off point for company vehicles is in the Altens area of Aberdeen. Applicants should consider their commuting ability before applying.
