We are partnering with a leading UK ADHD service to recruit an experienced Psychiatrist for a contract role providing specialist assessment and diagnosis support. This position offers flexible, remote working options.

Location:

Fully Remote (Work from anywhere in the UK)

Rate:

£450 LTD per hour, Outside IR35/Self-Employed (Paid per 90-minute assessment)

Contract:

Minimum of 6 assessments per week

Working Hours:

Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm, with flexible scheduling within these hours

Role Details:

This hybrid role involves both face-to-face and virtual assessments, scheduled at your convenience within operational hours. You will conduct adult ADHD assessments, including medication initiation when necessary, and support patients through their treatment plans. You will also have dedicated administrative time and are not expected to be on call outside your scheduled hours.

Main Duties:

• Collaborate with the clinical team to assess, diagnose, and treat adult patients with ADHD
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations using interviews, questionnaires, and collateral information
• Differentiate ADHD from other overlapping conditions
• Utilize standardized diagnostic tools like DSM-5
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records
• Signpost patients to relevant services
• Develop personalized treatment plans
• Support and monitor medication management with Independent Medical Prescribers

Requirements:

• GMC registration with a license to practice and on the GMC specialist register for psychiatry
• Medical Degree - MRCPsych
• Experience in ADHD assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
