Additive Technician

Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented individual looking for an exciting opportunity in manufacturing? We are seeking an Additive Technician to join our team and play a key role in the production of high-quality products.

About the Additive Technician Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the additive manufacturing, machine operating, sanding, polishing and blasting. Working under strict operating procedures, you will ensure the highest standards of quality and precision. You will also contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the production environment.

As part of an evolving manufacturing team, your insights will help shape new processes and products. Full training will be provided to operate a variety of specialised equipment and production techniques.

Key Responsibilities of the Additive Technician

Manufacture units using processes such as:

  • Additive manufacturing

  • Vacuum furnace heat treatment

  • Powder washing and grit-blasting

  • Cutting, polishing, and passivation

  • Cleaning within a cleanroom environment

  • Maintain quality records and ensure full traceability

  • Conduct equipment maintenance and stock management

Essential Skills & Experience of the Additive Technician

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately

  • Organised, task-oriented, and able to work independently

  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
