Qualifications

The Role

Working within our production team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Washing, cleaning, and bead blasting components to achieve high-quality finishes
  • Inspecting and packing parts with care and accuracy
  • Mixing and preparing resins and powders for 3D printing machines
  • Maintaining cleanliness and carrying out routine machine maintenance
  • Hand sanding and finishing parts to meet exacting customer standards
  • Supporting machine monitoring—including some evening and weekend coverage (additional pay provided)

Additional (but not essential) experience:

  • Evaluating 3D STL files for printability and success
  • Orienting parts for optimal surface finish and accuracy
  • Strategically nesting jobs to improve machine efficiency and material usage
  • Coordinating build schedules and maintaining workflow
  • Managing print builds and maintaining machine cleanliness

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Hands-on experience in model making, engineering, or manufacturing
  • Familiarity with SLA, SLS, or MJF technologies is highly desirable
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for innovation and technical improvement

Preferred (but not required) skills:

  • Additive manufacturing software knowledge
  • Understanding of machine parameters and build optimisation
  • Experience with 3D file preparation and repair
  • Post-processing techniques
