GM Performance Power Units in Concord, NC seeks an Additive Manufacturing Student Placement to join our AM team as a hands-on contributor to daily operations and special projects. You will gain exposure to the full AM process, including operations, process development, and design, while learning and collaborating with a team building a Formula 1 power unit.

The role requires a curious, driven student pursuing engineering or technical studies, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in engineering or technical program (degree not required).
• Interest in additive manufacturing and learning in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist with installation, setup, and daily operation of AM equipment under supervision.
• Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to support machine uptime.
• Prepare CAD models for printing, including orientation, support generation, and slicing.
