Additional Needs Teaching Assistant Role Details:
Location: King s Lynn, Norfolk
Position: Additional Needs Teaching Assistant
Hours: Monday Friday (08:30am 3.30pm)
Salary: £13.80 £15/hour (includes 12.07% holiday pay)
Contract: Temp to Perm
Your Role as a Additional Needs Teaching Assistant Will Include:
Support that counts - Build strong, positive relationships with students, offering consistent support that helps them feel safe, respected, and motivated.
Encouraging independence - Help students develop life skills and self-confidence, while maintaining clear and positive expectations for behaviour.
Creative learning support - Assist in delivering creative, personalised learning that s both engaging and meaningful.
Teamwork in action - Work closely with teachers and the wider school team to keep the day running smoothly and support every pupil s progress.
Be ready for anything - Every day is different, so flexibility and a let s do this attitude are essential.
Whole-child approach - Support the social, emotional, behavioural, and cognitive development of every student; because learning is about the whole person.
What We re Looking For in an Additional Needs Teaching Assistant:
• English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection (or willingness to learn)
• Experience with additional needs or challenging behaviours is a big bonus
• Access to transport or a reliable way to get to King s Lynn
• Full right to work in the UK we can t offer sponsorship, unfortunately
