Overview

About the role: A confident SEN qualified practitioner is required to provide support and tuition to learners with recognised and identified learning difficulties or disabilities. The suitable candidate will provide an excellent learning experience to ensure individual and/or groups of learners gain the appropriate skills in preparation for achievement in national and local exams and assessments, as well as social skills and behaviours to enable them to be successful in employment or higher education.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 3 specialist SEN qualifications or equivalent or be working towards, and a full teaching qualification or be working towards. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to effectively motivate and inspire others. You will also have exceptional organisational skills combined with good IT knowledge and sound administration skills.
