The shift pattern is Mon-Fri 9-5.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Addictions Staff Nurse to be part of East Dunbartonshire Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. This service supports individuals across East Dunbartonshire who require service for Alcohol and Drug use. This is a full time permanent post at 37 hours per week.
The post holder will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team, working in East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership and Board Wide across NHSGGC city wide ADRS services. The post holder will demonstrate compassionate caring behaviours to fulfil the key functions of the Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (ADRS)
The post holder is directly supported and supervised by the B6 Charge Nurse, and will be responsible for contributing to the care and support of individuals within ADRS. The post-holder will provide care and support as part of an agreed person centred plan of care which involves the use of a strength based recovery focused approach to care that proactively involves the person, carers and families and optimises self-management.
The post holder is required to be able to undertake duties as delegated by the Nursing Team Leader, working in partnership with patients, carers and other professionals/agencies in line with legislative frameworks, agreed standards and clinical policies. This involves working in a variety of community, home/ environments.
A driving license is desirable for this post.
