ADAS Test Technician (0992) - £19.67/hr PAYE

Step into an exciting opportunity to advance your career as an ADAS Test Technician and become part of a dynamic organisation at the forefront of automotive innovation. This role offers you the chance to work on cutting-edge vehicle technologies, contribute to the development of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and travel internationally while collaborating with talented engineering teams.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare, build, and maintain vehicles, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems in line with engineering procedures and manuals.
  • Support testing in dynamic conditions to gather accurate, timely, and high-quality test data and results.
  • Conduct evaluations and identify concerns, liaising closely with Test Engineers to ensure project success.
  • Deliver key performance indicators for the section and provide support to other teams as required.
  • Travel internationally for business purposes, with flexibility for trips lasting up to two weeks.
  • Create detailed reports and presentations using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.

What You Will Bring:

  • Recognised qualifications such as C&G or BTEC Level 3 in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering, ideally supported by an apprenticeship.
  • Proficiency in fundamental mechanical and electrical skills, (preferably with automotive experience).
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks independently.
  • Competence in Excel for data management and PowerPoint for report preparation.
  • A full UK driving licence and the willingness to travel for business purposes.
