Job description

ADAS Platform Solution Architect, Warwick

Jaguar Land Rover is seeking an ADAS Platform Solution Architect in Warwick, United Kingdom. This role is within the Product Engineering division, focusing on innovation in driver assistance systems and electric propulsion development.

The position involves leading the design and development of safety-critical Hardware and Software Platform Systems, including fault monitoring and degradation strategies, requirements, architecture, and software implementation.

Responsibilities include:
  • Defining Hardware and Software fault handling strategies and platform system requirements
  • Leading E2E fault handling system and software architecture design using MATLAB Simulink, Catia Magic MSOSA
  • Implementing fault handling solutions within AUTOSAR frameworks, adhering to JLR Quality Management System and ISO26262 standards
  • Collaborating with system, hardware, software, and functional safety teams
  • Applying Systems Engineering methods to design complex safety-critical hardware and software platforms for ADAS applications
  • Supporting test strategy development and working with validation teams for test interface design
Qualifications include:
  • Experience with safety-critical Autosar Classic & Adaptive automotive platforms
  • Expertise in ISO 26262 Parts 5 and 6
  • Experience with safety microcontrollers, SOCs, power architecture, and intra-ECU communication
  • Proficiency in UML/SYSML for hardware/software platform solutions
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering methodologies
  • Experience with fault handling and diagnostics on Autosar platforms
  • Knowledge of automotive software quality standards like MISRA, QAC/Polyspace
