Job summary

Victorious Academies Trust is seeking a casual Supply Teacher to work across our schools in Tameside, Glossop and Stockport. The role offers flexible daily assignments and the chance to support learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

You must hold QTS or equivalent, be available at short notice, have Enhanced DBS, and a solid understanding of the UK curriculum. Competitive daily rates apply, with the opportunity to contribute to pupil development within a supportive Trust environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Availability at short notice is essential for ad hoc to long-term assignments.
• Enhanced DBS registration on the update service is essential.
• Strong understanding of the UK curriculum (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
• Previous experience in primary or secondary school settings.

Responsibilities

• Operate in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education and the Teacher Standards.
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the UK curriculum for planned and unplanned absences.
• Teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as required.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions for pupils.
• Utilise a range of teaching resources and technologies to enhance learning.
• Follow safeguarding policies to ensure pupil safety and wellbeing.
• Comply with Trust policies.
