Job summary

Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service (DACES) is recruiting suitably qualified tutors to work in centres across Derbyshire and online, across family learning, employability, digital skills and more. We welcome applicants who can travel to multiple areas within Derbyshire.

Once appointed to the tutor pool, you can build a working pattern to suit on a course-by-course basis, making the role ideal for flexible hours and scalable involvement in local communities.

Qualifications

• Hold an adult teaching qualification and a recognised subject specialist qualification.
• Experience of work with adults and/or young people.
• Experience of delivering subject content.
• Be able to maintain engagement, interaction and motivation of learners.
• Be committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion and British Values.

Responsibilities

• Deliver adult education courses in the listed subject areas across centres and online.
• Contribute to curriculum delivery and learner progression.
• Adapt teaching to meet diverse learner needs.
