Overview

Adaptations Surveyor. Are you a qualified Surveyor proficient with CAD and experienced in the delivery of disability facilities grants looking for a new challenge? This London based role could be for you.

Who will you be joining?

Local Authority team delivering life changing adaptations for those that need them are in need of additional support to keep up with a growing demand in the borough.

Responsibilities
  • To act as project co-ordinator for all commissioned disabled adaptations
  • To prepare technical schedules of work, specifications and drawings using AutoCAD.
  • To liaise with all external parties involved in disability grants including Clients & Medical professionals.
  • To manage works from inspection to completion
  • To co-ordinate and submit applications for planning permission and building regulations approval where appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Qualified to degree level in Surveying
  • Affiliation with relevant industry bodies
  • Previous experience of disability grants and local authorities
  • Be located within a commutable distance for site visits
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
