RecruitME is recruiting a Site Manager for an established anaerobic digestion plant on the Isle of Sheppey. You will lead four operators, supported by a Regional Operations Manager and their team, and take ownership of plant performance.

The role focuses on safe, reliable, and efficient production, troubleshooting the digestion process, coordinating maintenance, and developing a small team while staying hands-on with daily operations.

Competenze

• Practical anaerobic digestion experience is essential.
• You’ll understand AD plant operations and take action to improve performance.
• Previous supervisory experience would be useful, but you don’t need to have held a Site Manager title.

Mansioni

• Manage daily plant operations, maintaining safe, reliable and efficient production.
• Monitor the digestion process, investigate problems and optimise biogas and biomethane output.
• Coordinate planned maintenance, repairs and contractors to minimise downtime.
• Lead, coach and develop four operators.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental compliance, including permit requirements.
• Manage site costs, stock levels and operational reporting.
• Organise the out-of-hours call-out rota and provide cover when required.
