Job Description:

This is a hands-on and varied role, working within an operational AD & Packaging plant. The role involves machinery operation, feedstock management, assisting with maintenance, administration, and general upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the plant safely and efficiently during steady state, start-up, shutdown, and emergency situations as directed.
• Load and feed products into the digester safely.
• Support the team to meet operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with the Environmental Permit, reporting any non-compliance or incidents to the Head of Technical.
• Conduct routine plant inspections, adjustments, and operations, recording plant data.
• Respond to first-line and breakdown maintenance needs within your experience.
• Maintain Feed Store and Raw Materials for the AD Plant.
• Order products following accounts procedures.
• Coordinate timely deliveries to the site.
• Liaise with Suppliers.

Manage collection of samples for AD and incoming Raw Materials, and handle intake deliveries of co-products.

Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, JCB loadall, etc., safely.

Maintain accurate records of all processes.

Manage AD/Packaging infrastructure and assets, ensuring systems are operational and schedules are followed.

Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to overall plant upkeep.

Keep all areas of the AD/Packaging site clean, tidy, and well-presented.

Teamwork:

• Work effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals and support the site as needed.
• Collaborate with the wider group team when required.

Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements:

• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
• Participate in an on-call rota.
