Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking 5x Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers for ongoing ad hoc shifts at a FMCG site in Nuneaton. The role involves ~50% electrical and 50% mechanical work on conveyors, robotics, packaging machinery, motors and controls.

Shifts are 12 hours (7am–7pm) with full site training and H&S induction. Successful candidates will be contracted to provide ad hoc cover, be trained to become resident engineers for the site, and join the site’s engineering cover pool as shifts

Qualifications

Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification.
Strong multi-skilled maintenance experience.
Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
Manufacturing, FMCG, food, process or logistics experience.
Strong understanding of safe electrical working practices.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
Respond to breakdowns and perform effective fault finding.
Investigate recurring failures and identify root causes.
Monitor equipment condition (vibration, oil levels, worn components, sensors).
Work to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability and OEE.
Identify potential failures and carry out proactive maintenance before breakdowns occur.
