Job description

OBM is currently recruiting for an Ad-Hoc Driver to support our clients' Ships Agency operations in Aberdeen.

This position is available to candidates who are available on a flexible/ad-hoc basis with no guaranteed hours of work. Work is offered and allocated on a first come, first served basis to the pool of approved ad-hoc drivers.

Applicants must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and have reasonable knowledge of Aberdeen and the surrounding area. Previous experience of driving professionally is preferred but not essential.

Main duties include driving a small minibus to transfer vessel crew to various sites across Aberdeen, most commonly from Aberdeen Harbour/City Centre to Aberdeen Airport/Heliport. Longer journeys may also be required to Peterhead and Montrose for crew transfers.

Delivery of freight or small parcels locally and further afield (mainly West Coast) may also be part of the role.

Please note that the pick-up and drop-off point for company vehicles is located in the Altens area of Aberdeen. Applicants should consider their commuting ability before applying for this role.
