Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Unit Manager in Acute Medicine (Band 7). This 37.5-hour role leads the AMU/IAU team, shaping patient flow, quality and safety, and workforce development.

You will work with an experienced Acute Medicine Matron and Practice Based Educator to develop staff, drive improvements and deliver excellent patient care in a busy environment.

Formación

• Experience leading Acute Medicine teams.
• Strong leadership and change management skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Carry continuous responsibility and accountability for the management of the ward/department, ensuring highest standards of patient care 24/7.
• Collaborate closely with Ward Managers/Team Leaders to support roles and corporate needs of the Urgent and Emergency Care Division.
• Work with clinic team leaders and maintain knowledge base in urgent care.
• Ensure safe and effective discharges for the designated area with resource efficiency.
