Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic doctor to join our Acute Medicine Department as a Clinical Fellow (ST1/ST2 equivalent) on a fixed-term 3-month contract. The successful candidate will assess and manage patients admitted to the Acute Medical Unit, participate in the acute medical rota, and work closely with consultants and multidisciplinary colleagues.

They will deliver high-quality patient-centred care and contribute to clinical governance, teaching and service

Qualifications

• Be an enthusiastic and motivated doctor applying for the Acute Medicine Clinical Fellow post (ST1/ST2 equivalent).
• Assess and manage patients admitted to the Acute Medical Unit.
• Participate in the acute medical rota and collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient-centred care in the Acute Medical Unit.
• Contribute to clinical governance, teaching and service improvement activities.
• Work closely with consultants and the wider team to optimise patient flow and care.
