Job summary

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in Harlow is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver a service for acute inpatients. You will manage a caseload, assess, treat and evaluate patients referred to the service, and work within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.

You will work autonomously in line with the Code of Ethics and professional conduct and Health Professions Council regulations, with ongoing CPD and potential in-service training contributions.

Responsibilities

• Provide an Occupational Therapy service for Acute Inpatients.
• Take responsibility for a specified caseload including assessment, treatment and evaluation.
• Work as part of a Multi-disciplinary/Agency team.
• Work as an autonomous professional according to College of Occupational Therapy 'Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct' and the 'Health Professions Council Regulations'.
• Actively participate in Continuing Professional Development and contribute to the development of in-service training.
• Work under the indirect supervision of the senior occupational therapist and carry out clinical and administrative duties.
