A leading healthcare provider in the UK seeks a motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join their team in Acute Medicine. The role requires experience in urgent care and non-medical prescribing. Candidates will work in the Acute Assessment Unit, providing high-quality, patient-centered care alongside skilled practitioners. We are looking for a motivated health care professional to join our expanding team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners in Acute Medicine at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work alongside a well-established and highly skilled team of eight Advanced Clinical Practitioners and two trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners, providing a seven-day service to the Acute Assessment Unit and rotating across all areas of Acute Medicine. This is a busy and dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
This is a full-time post (37.5 hours/week) with a salary at 8a. Non-medical prescribing is a requirement for this post. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an adult acute or urgent care division, with knowledge and skills covering all aspects of Acute Medicine. A willingness to learn and develop is essential, along with self-motivation and a desire to improve patient care through advanced clinical skills, leadership, education, and research. Support will be provided through clinical supervision from an allocated medical consultant mentor and Lead ACP in Acute Medicine, with access to CPD reflecting all four domains of advanced practice.
