This is an international shipboard position on cruise ships. The company, OneSpaWorld, is a worldwide provider and innovator in beauty, wellness, and rejuvenation across the globe, on cruise ships and on land.

The company is dedicated to maintaining high standards and service quality, continually evolving to include all aspects of health and beauty, with a focus on new advances in the spa, salon, fitness, and wellness industry.

Services include traditional and alternative massage, body and skincare treatments, Ayurvedic treatments, hair and nail services, mindfulness programs, fitness, acupuncture, herbal medicine, pain management, and Medi-Spa.

OneSpaWorld seeks to hire acupuncturists for their onboard spas worldwide. Share your knowledge of acupuncture globally! Meet new cultures and see the world while gaining professional experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to earn income while traveling. The position is commission-based with a minimum; room and board are provided, along with acupuncture supplies. Acupuncturists have their own room on board. Flights to and from the ship on your first contract are included.

Position Requirements:

• US acupuncturists must hold a current valid state license and/or be certified by NCCAOM.
• Graduates outside the US must have completed a program equivalent to US standards, including approximately 2,000 hours of classroom and clinical study.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to provide treatments successfully, manage multiple treatment rooms, conduct consultations efficiently, and speak about Chinese Medicine topics publicly.
• Enjoy working with people, possess a friendly personality, and be comfortable in a sales-oriented environment (training provided).
• Must be fluent in English, have a valid passport, and be eligible for a US C1/D Visa if not authorized to work in the US.

Position Summary:

Administer high-quality acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatments to onboard guests, communicate treatment concepts effectively, and understand all body treatments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient consultations, inform and educate clients, and follow up to ensure desired results.
• Manage clients independently, develop friendly relations, and recommend treatments.
• Present professionally, be a good listener, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate medical records, manage inventory, and be punctual.

Education and Experience:

Regular attendance is essential. Irregular attendance may lead to disciplinary action.
