Actuary Manager (Associate Director)

Permanent

Location: London / Hybrid

Salary: Up to £120,000 + Bonus (15%) + 6-14% pension

Our client is a leading Insurance company looking for an Actuary Manager to join permanently.

You will join a growing team and be responsible for leading the delivery of new and existing business across the companies’ actuarial services (including pricing, capital, and reserving). You will also work with team members to generate new business.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in client meetings and provide material contributions to the relationship with more than one major client.
  • Engage with colleagues to identify and develop opportunities.
  • Manage complex actuarial projects.
  • Contribute to developing new products and processes and generating new revenue.
  • Manage and mentor junior associates.
Experience/ Skills:
  • Qualified FIA/ FFA or equivalent
  • Capital Modelling, Reserving and Solvency II experience – desired
  • Knowledge of R, Python, Power BI, Radar, Igloo, and ResQ.
  • Client-facing expertise
  • People management
