Job summary

Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) is recruiting an Actuary to join the Finance department's FP&A function. The role focuses on delivering timely insight to Finance, ExCo and the Board to support decision making, collaborating with Finance, Origination, Investments and Risk.

Key duties include forecast and business plan preparation, Solvency Monitoring, and ad-hoc stakeholder analysis. A recently or nearly qualified actuary with UK life insurance FP&A exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Recently (or nearly) qualified actuary.
• Desirable: experience in a UK life insurance FP&A/business partnering role.

Responsibilities

• Support in the preparation of regular forecasts and business plans for senior management and shareholders.
• Assist maintenance of weekly Solvency Monitoring tool.
• Support Stress and Scenario Testing on the balance sheet and projections.
• Develop learning in technical (data analysis) and non-technical (relationship management) skills.
