Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd is seeking a qualified actuary to join a leading insurance business in a broad role spanning Capital, Reserving, and Pricing. You will partner with Underwriting, Claims and Finance to deliver insightful analyses that support key decisions and enhance pricing and reserving models.

The role offers exposure to capital modelling, data-driven process improvements, and potential leadership responsibilities within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary (or equivalent actuarial qualification).
• Good understanding of reserving methodologies and pricing techniques.
• Capital modelling experience would be particularly advantageous.
• Experience with actuarial modelling and strong technical skills, including R, Python and/or VBA.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver actuarial analysis across Capital, Reserving, and Pricing activities.
• Work closely with Underwriting, Claims and Finance teams to provide actionable business insights.
• Support the development and enhancement of pricing and reserving models.
• Contribute to internal capital model work and capital management activities.
• Utilise technology and data-driven solutions to improve processes and efficiency.
