Job summary

Broadstone is seeking an Apprentice Actuarial Technician based in Birmingham or Redditch. The role is full-time and supports a Level 4 Actuarial Technician qualification over 2-3 years with study funding provided.

You will work in the actuarial team providing consultancy to pension schemes, with supervision from expert actuaries and structured time for study and progression to actuary status.

Qualifications

• No prior knowledge of the UK pensions industry is required.
• Strong data analysis and numerical skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication is important.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out technical calculations relating to pension schemes for review by colleagues.
• Data analysis, looking for errors, inaccuracies or incomplete records.
• Producing letters and reports.
• Assisting with the production of tools for other departments.
