Job summary

Deloitte is seeking Graduate Analysts in Actuarial Insurance to develop core consulting and actuarial skills. You will learn actuarial modelling, data analytics, and regulatory reporting for life and general insurance clients while contributing to client deliverables and internal knowledge sharing.

The role emphasizes a mix of in-person and online learning, buddy support, and progression toward Fellowship with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries over 3–6 years.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum 2:1 degree and graduation by September 2027 for Autumn 2027 intake.
• Maths A-level (or equivalent) encouraged.
• No prior experience required, but interest in the insurance industry and actuaries is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Analyse client data and draft reports/slide decks to present findings to clients.
• Conduct research and due diligence on demographic and financial assumptions.
• Estimate, review and validate actuarial numbers including liabilities and capital for audits.
• Assess future insurance liabilities for pricing, profitability and financial reporting.
• Provide advice on capital levels and capital structure.
• Support transformation programs by identifying inefficiencies and designing better processes.
