Job summary

Deloitte invites applicants for an Early Careers Actuarial Insurance role in Edinburgh. You will develop actuarial modelling and data analytics skills, learn regulatory reporting across life and general insurance, and engage in client work with a professional, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and graduates by September 2027.
• A-level in Maths encouraged.
• No prior experience required.
• Interest in insurance industry and actuaries recommended.

Responsibilities

• Analyse client data before drafting reports and slide decks for findings.
• Research demographic and financial assumptions.
• Estimate, review and validate actuarial numbers for audits.
• Assess future liabilities for premiums, profitability and reporting.
• Advise on capital to hold and capital structure.
• Support process improvements and embed new solutions with clients.
