Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Capital and Reinsurance Pricing Development Actuary to work hybrid between London and Cambridge. You will develop the Igloo Standard Model (ISM) used by insurers and reinsurers worldwide for capital modelling and pricing.

You will collaborate with clients and partners to design technologies and statistical methods, contribute to Igloo product development, and advance stochastic modelling across a broad range of applications.

Qualifications

• Newly or nearly qualified actuary or equivalent.
• Experience of reinsurance pricing or capital modelling.
• Interest in coding and AI; expertise in Igloo or Python.
• Excellent client relationship skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong organizational abilities; flexible in a performance-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with applicant tracking systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a numerical field.

Responsibilities

• Develop the market-leading ISM for capital modelling and pricing.
• Collaborate with clients and partners to design, develop and implement new technologies and statistical techniques.
• Contribute to Igloo product development with the development team.
• Be at the forefront of stochastic modelling across a broad range of applications.
