Job summary

Aon plc in London is inviting penultimate-year students to join our Insurance Actuarial Consulting & Reinsurance Analytics Summer Internship Programme. You will apply quantitative techniques and professional judgement to help clients manage financial risk, with on-the-job learning through our Launch Programme and client exposure.

You'll work with STG and Reinsurance Analytics teams on pricing, reserving, risk transfer and scenario analysis, developing technical and consulting skills for a future

Qualifications

• Penultimate-year student in maths, actuarial science, economics or a highly numerical discipline.
• Achieved A grade in Maths A-level or equivalent; aiming for 2:1 degree.
• Interest in actuarial consulting and professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Build and run models for pricing, reserving and capital analysis.
• Conduct data and risk analyses to test scenarios and validate outputs.
• Support pricing, reserving, catastrophe and risk-transfer analyses.
• Draft clear reports and presentations communicating findings.
• Assist in client meetings and translate methodology into recommendations.
• Contribute to actuarial research and process improvements.
