Hymans Robertson is seeking ambitious graduates to join its Actuarial Consulting & Analytics graduate programme. You’ll train across either the Actuarial Private or Actuarial Public units or the Insights & Analytics team, gaining exposure to pensions, funding, governance and data analytics.
From day one you’ll work with experienced actuaries and analysts, receiving structured training, mentoring and study support to progress towards IFoA qualification.
At Hymans Robertson, actuarial consulting is at the heart of what we do - combining our analytical expertise with a deep understanding of pensions, benefits and financial risk to deliver tailored solutions for our clients. Whether advising on Private Sector Defined Benefit schemes or supporting Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS), our actuaries play a pivotal role in helping people to make informed decisions.
We are excited to welcome applications for our Actuarial Consulting & Analytics graduate programme, which is a perfect next step for those looking to launch their careers within this field!
Depending on your skills and interests, you will join either one of our pensions actuarial consulting business units (Actuarial Private or Actuarial Public) as a trainee consultant, or our Insights & Analytics team as an analyst. While these pathways are closely connected, each offers unique opportunities to develop specialist expertise and make a meaningful impact for our clients.
We'll also fully support your journey towards qualification with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), providing the tools, study support and encouragement to help you thrive both professionally and personally.
You don’t need to be joining us from a purely maths, economics or actuarial science based degree programme to excel in this role, as we recognise that any University degree will give you an amazing set of transferable skills that are valuable in any workplace. However, we do require you to have the ability to work well with numbers.
