Actuarial Consultant (Nearly or Recently Qualified)

Salary: Up to £68,000

Level: 4+ years (recently or nearly qualified)

Locations: Bristol

Working pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week in office)

Our client is a leading independent UK consulting firm with a supportive and team-oriented work environment, seeking a nearly or recently qualified actuary with at least 4 years of experience in a comparable role.

The Actuarial Consultant will be a key individual within the team, with aim to progress into a Client Account Manager for a number of corporate clients - the business fosters a strong meritocratic culture where career progression is prioritised from day one.

Responsibilities include:

  • Actuarial valuation calculations
  • Collaborating with the corporate team on various projects
  • Providing general consultancy by addressing client and third-party queries with technical advice
  • Managing client relationships by overseeing work allocation
  • Working directly with senior client team members

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4+ years in a relevant role
  • Nearly or recently qualified actuary
  • Strong working knowledge of UK DB pension schemes and relevant technical actuarial methods

You must have several exams remaining to pass, or be a recently qualified actuary.
