Job description

Working within the SME eTrade Pricing team on their various eTrade products.

  • Location: London/Fareham - Hybrid
  • Type: Permanent

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

  1. Pricing analysis – working with large & complex datasets to produce high-quality pricing analyses, supporting the development and implementation of model improvements and enrichment datasets to enhance the quality of pricing.
  2. Portfolio monitoring – developing and maintaining data and portfolio monitoring dashboards which are used & trusted by a variety of stakeholders, and utilising these to forecast & communicate emerging performance and key portfolio trends.
  3. Process improvement – developing and maintaining systems & processes through innovation, incorporating efficiencies and improvements as standard.
  4. Collaborating – building strong relationships across the company (claims, reserving, underwriting, finance), providing a first-class service & trusted insights, and helping to foster a strong data-driven culture.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Working towards Actuarial qualifications.
  2. Experience in an Actuarial role, preferably in General Insurance.
  3. Experience in a fast-flow Pricing role would be an advantage.
  4. Working knowledge of MS Office, SQL, R, Power BI.
  5. Good market, risk and business awareness.
  6. Good knowledge of SME insurance products.
