Job Description:

Our client, a highly reputable Lloyd's/London Market Insurer, is looking to hire in their actuarial department to focus on cyber lines of business.

This role offers a mix of responsibilities including pricing, reserving, and ad-hoc projects. Responsibilities include supporting underwriters with actuarial pricing, developing exposure and experience rating models, conducting segmentation analysis, and reserving activities.

The work split is approximately 50% pricing, 25% reserving, and 25% other projects.

The team works three days a week in the office. They promote a supportive culture with mentorship programs.

The hiring manager is interested in Part Qualified Actuaries with experience in general insurance or pensions consultancy. Candidates should have exposure to R/Python and a solid understanding of the Lloyd's/London Market. They consider candidates with 6 months to 2 years of experience.
