Price Forbes, part of The Ardonagh Group, seeks an Actuarial Analyst to work at the crossroads of actuarial science, data analytics, software development and AI. You will create models, develop benchmarking tools and deliver client insights across healthcare and life sciences, with exposure to both insurance and reinsurance.
The role blends traditional actuarial work with advanced analytics and modern tech.
Price Forbes is one of the world's leading specialty insurance and reinsurance brokers. Our Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice is the largest specialist healthcare and life sciences team in the industry, advising many of the most sophisticated healthcare providers, health systems, care organisations, medical groups and life sciences businesses globally. As part of a significant investment in data, analytics and innovation, we are creating a new Actuarial Analyst role to help drive the next stage of our growth.
This is not a traditional actuarial position. You will work at the intersection of actuarial science, insurance, healthcare, data analytics, software development and artificial intelligence. You will help create the analytical capabilities, benchmarking tools and client insight platforms that support some of our most important client relationships. You will have access to a unique dataset spanning healthcare and life sciences organisations across the globe and will be encouraged to take ownership of analytical initiatives from day one.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across both insurance and reinsurance placements, gaining exposure to a broad range of complex and innovative transactions. They will also be involved with captive insurance arrangements, providing valuable experience in alternative risk transfer solutions and captive insurance structures.
A key part of this role is helping Price Forbes develop market-leading technology-enabled advisory capabilities. We are looking for an individual with a genuine passion for software, automation and artificial intelligence. You will be encouraged to identify opportunities to utilise AI, machine learning and modern software tools to improve client outcomes, automate processes and create differentiated analytical services. Candidates with experience or curiosity around Python, data science, machine learning, generative AI and software development will be particularly attractive.
We welcome applications from graduates, analysts and part-qualified actuaries. Candidates actively studying towards an actuarial qualification (IFoA or equivalent) will receive full support from Price Forbes through a comprehensive study package, including examination fees, study leave, mentoring and ongoing professional development support.
